A UK ENIC is a national centre of information for international qualifications and skills. In response to the UK leaving the EU, the former UK NARIC recognition agency function has changed from NARIC (an EU-only title) to ENIC (the European title for national recognition agencies) to meet the UK’s continuing responsibilities under the EU.
UK-NARIC provides services especially in three main arenas; for individuals, for employers and specialized consultancy services.
(i) Individuals: UK NARIC provides comparison details for people with international qualifications planning to work or study in the UK. The summary can be used by individuals to get them through the UK’s immigration system, applying for a UK job or to enroll a study course.
(ii) Organisations: UK NARIC supports academic institutions, businesses, recruitment services and government agencies from across the world by providing professional expertise and advice about international education systems and qualifications.
UK NARIC for the Overseas Nurses:
Overseas nurses who have done their graduation in nursing (Bachelor of Science in nursing which is a 4 years course) are eligible to undertake the UK NARIC assessment instead of appearing in the IELTS UKVI to apply for their Tier 2 (General) visa.
The English Language Assessment service is for individuals who need to demonstrate their English language ability for the purposes of work, study, or registration with a professional body. The English Language Assessment confirms whether degrees taught in English meet level B1, B2 or C1 of the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR). This may help you prove your language proficiency to potential employers, education institutions or professional bodies.
The English Language Assessment can be used only for Bachelor, Master’s and PhD level qualifications that are taught solely in English.
